Pompey have signed midfielder Ben Tollitt on a one-year deal, with the option of an extension from non-league Skelmersdale United.
Tollitt told the club website: “I’m made up. It’s my first professional contract and I can’t wait to get started.
I knew that I wasn’t going to get a lot of time at Havant, so the plan was to use whatever time I got to show a bit of what I could do.
It was the biggest crowd I have ever played in front of and the support was absolutely amazing.
I can’t wait for the opportunity to step out in front of 17,000 people at Fratton Park.
I want to be part of something with Pompey, to help them move up and go places. The club really shouldn’t be in this league.”
