The crowdfunding campaign to commemorate Jimmy Dickinson with a statue at Fratton Park is up and running.
£150,000 is needed to make the project a reality – with the first £25,000 already donated by the Pompey Supporters’ Trust, who are leading the project. Currently the amount raised stands at over £47,000.
PompeyNewsNow are aiming with your support to contribute £250 towards the project.
Each £1 donated towards this target will be entered into a draw for a chance to win 2 tickets to a pre-unveiling drinks reception. Full details to be confirmed nearer the date.
Chip in a fiver, you will get 5 chances to win. Or double up and throw a tenner in.
Here’s how to enter and help the PST-led project:
1) Send your £1/£5/£10 contribution via PayPal to pompeynewsnow@gmail.com
2) Don’t forget to select the “I’m sending money to family or friends” option to ensure no fees are incurred which would reduce the amount received.
3) Spread the word and help the Jimmy Dickinson statue become reality!
4) Draw for the 2 tickets will be made once £250 has been hit. Any surplus will be passed onto the crowdfunding campaign.
