It’s been seven years since Pompey last faced their South Coast rivals and a match that has been a hot topic of conversation amongst fans since the two sides were drawn in the Carabao Cup 3rd round.
The eagerly awaited fixture has brought back memories of that spectacular David Norris late equaliser at St Mary’s. If anyone ever needs a definition of ‘limbs’, they need look no further than video footage of the ecstatic Pompey fans celebrating.
Norris recently told the PO4cast that he remained in love with Pompey: “I love the place, I love going back there, I love what the fans did.”
