Pals Painting Recognises Club Support

The Pompey Pals project will present a painting by Hayling Island artist David Evans to the club at the Plymouth match on Easter Monday in recognition of the support they have given to the charity this season.

Bob Beech said “The Pompey Pals project has been delighted with the support we have had from Portsmouth FC this season, they have got fully behind us in all we have set out to do from the memorial unveiled in August, to the iconic shirt the players have worn this season.

I do think its a step too far however that they even turned the Fratton Park pitch into a replica of No Mans Land!

I would like to personally thank Iain McInnes and Mark Catlin who have taken a personal interest in the project and have helped out enormously.”
